[Tochigi/Nikko] Enjoy the snow-viewing hot springs in Oku-Nikko in winter ♨

We visited the Oku-Nikko Forest Hotel.
It's far from the city, so you'll probably have to go by bus or car.
(75 minutes by bus from Nikko Station)

We used a bus free pass, so we got off the bus along the way and did some sightseeing on the way 😊
There is an impressive waterfall just before the inn, so please do get off along the way ♪
However, if it's snowing, you should be a little careful... Just looking at it from above was very windy.
It was also quite difficult to walk from there to the inn, so I recommend going when the weather is good ◎

We were split into two groups, one to visit the waterfall and one to go directly to the inn, but when I walked to the hotel in the snow as the waterfall group, a staff member was waiting for us outside!
Although my body was cold, my heart was warmed.

We were given some tea and settled down before heading to our room.
The spacious room had a beautiful snowy view from the large window.

The milky hot spring warmed us to the core.
The spring water is apparently colorless and transparent, but when it comes into contact with air a chemical reaction occurs, causing it to turn emerald green or milky white!
It's so beautiful, so that's another highlight!

After the hot springs, it's time for dinner.
This hotel is famous for its breakfast, but dinner was also delicious.
Breakfast was a buffet, and each dish was carefully arranged in a small bowl.
The food was refined and really tasty!

It was a wonderful inn where you can enjoy Oku-Nikko✨
