Just two minutes from Shinkyo Bridge, the gateway to Nikko's Shrines and Temples Forest! Incredible access!

As the name "Hoshi no Yado" suggests, our inn is known as a place to gaze at the starry sky. 🫧
Nikko Hoshino Yado is a long-established inn located on a hilltop, a 10-minute walk from Nikko Toshogu Shrine. ♨️
The historic building and the relaxing atmosphere surrounded by nature are captivating. ✨
Upon entering, the scent of wood and Japanese furnishings create a very comfortable space. 🍀📗 The Nikko mountain range stretches out from the window, creating a relaxing atmosphere. 🥰
Our room was Japanese-style, and the scent of tatami was soothing. ☺️ There was a wide veranda by the window, from which we could gaze at the city lights and the starry sky at night! The name "Hoshi no Yado" truly fits the name. 🤍

The hot spring is an alkaline simple spring. ♨️ With a pH of 9.5, it's known as a "beauty bath" that leaves your skin feeling smooth.
The open-air bath is surrounded by forest and is incredibly quiet. 🫧 You can even see the deer nearby. Apparently, they sometimes come over to visit. 🦌✨ At night, the sky was filled with stars, and the view through the steam from the hot springs was amazing!
The food was also fantastic, and I only had breakfast this time. 😋 Breakfast was a Japanese set meal, featuring freshly cooked rice, yuba (tofu skin) dishes, and small side dishes, which were very healthy. 🤍
It was also a nice touch to be able to head to Toshogu Shrine after a hearty meal. 🥰
