
Jinhouling is one of the best-preserved areas of Shennongjia's primeval forest, a protected area for rare animals such as golden snub-nosed monkeys and white bears. Jinhouling boasts high and steep mountains, a cool climate, abundant rainfall, fertile soil, and dense forests. A vast expanse of arrow bamboo, vines, and wild flowers and fruits abound, creating a picturesque landscape. Golden snub-nosed monkeys, listed as a Class I protected species, roam, climb, and play here, attracting numerous experts and researchers. The mountain has become a rare protected area for golden snub-nosed monkeys and white bears, allowing visitors to enjoy the scenery while also witnessing the graceful beauty of the monkeys.
