[Tochigi Nikko] Shobugahama Camping Village🏕️

I recently visited Shobugahama Camp Village in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, for a two-day, one-night stay. This was my first time at this campsite, and I wanted to pitch my tent along the lakeside, so I checked in early at 8:30 a.m. on a weekday, but there were already two other groups there. From the moment I pitched my tent, Lake Chuzenji stretched out before me, and looking back, Mount Nantai was in sight—a truly wonderful location. The campsite manager was also incredibly kind. In addition to the spectacular lakeside view, the campsite was surrounded by grass and trees, creating a tranquil atmosphere that allowed me to feel the passage of time. There was also a kitchen, shop, and rental equipment. Some people were even trying SUP. This is a highly recommended campsite, perfect for combining sightseeing in Nikko with a day at the site.
