I happened to stop by this place while visiting Lake Chuzenji in Tochigi Prefecture, and it was a truly wonderful spot! ✨✨
The Italian Embassy Villa Memorial Park was built in 1928 as a summer villa for the Italian Embassy and has long been used by diplomats.

Currently open to the public, the beautiful wood-and-stone building blends seamlessly with the surrounding environment.

You can tour the interior, and see period furniture and documents on display, giving you a glimpse into the elegant lifestyle of diplomats.

The beautifully patterned trinket boxes, tableware, and sofas are all so luxurious, it's fun to imagine what life was like back then.

The window offers a spectacular view of Lake Chuzenji and Mount Nantai, a truly picturesque landscape!

There are walking paths around the area, and you can even walk right up to the lake. 🧚
