[Nikko] Is it recommended to use the parking lot at Nikkozan Rinnoji Temple early in the morning for your first visit of the year?

#NikkoTourism

I left Tokyo and went to Nikko for the New Year holidays.
I thought that Nikko's first shrine visit would be very crowded, so I went on January 1st.

I arrived around 9am,
and of course the parking lot at Nikko Toshogu Shrine was full, but I had to wait about 15 minutes.

There were still spaces available at Rinno-ji Temple's parking lot.
I was surprised because a prediction website said that it usually gets full and it's a big deal.

By 11am on the way back, there was quite a long line, so it seems that it's good to go early.
(I got a bad fortune though...)

The Sanbutsudo building that houses the principal image of Rinno-ji Temple, and in front of it was the Kongo Sakura tree, which is said to be about 500 years old.

It is said to be registered as a World Heritage Site as one of Nikko's shrines and temples.
