At the entrance to the village, a villager will charge 20 yuan for parking. It is recommended to call a local homestay and say that you have booked a room with them. Then the owner will tell you to mention it to the person collecting the parking fee at the entrance, and then they won't charge you. This can save you the parking fee... just a small tip.
I personally really, really like this ancient village! You can tell from the pictures I posted.
The scenery is truly beautiful, and even with my poor photography skills, I can still take relatively nice photos. High mountains, flowing water, small bridges and houses, blue sky, white clouds, and curling smoke - absolutely beautiful!
