| A Lakeside Cycling Journey with Wind and Freedom. Dongqian Lake is vast, with many cycling routes to explore. This time, I’d like to share a shorter loop route around Dongqian Lake, covering about 10 kilometers. It’s relaxed and enjoyable, perfect for beginners and family rides.

🚲Bike Rental: We rented two bikes from our homestay and brought one with a child seat.

🌸Highlights Along the Way:
- Chating·Free Shore: The starting point of the ride features expansive lawns where many people pitch tents or fly kites. The adjacent Dongqian Lake boasts clear, shimmering waters.

- Dongqian Lake Water Park: As you pass by, you’ll see colorful amusement facilities full of childlike charm. Even if you don’t enter, the exterior makes for great photos.

- Hanling Old Street: Upon arrival, park your bikes at the entrance and stroll through the ancient street. Cobblestone paths, white walls with black tiles, and a variety of unique shops and local delicacies line the streets.

This shorter loop around Dongqian Lake offers both stunning lakeside scenery and the lively atmosphere of an old street, making it an ideal weekend getaway to unwind. Gather your family and friends and set off on this delightful adventure!
