One of the features of the ancient town is its unique water system layout, known as the "Bagua Water System". This layout uses the Baixi River to wind around the village and form a unique water town landscape. The streets and lanes in the ancient town are clear, and the cobblestone-paved roads are lined with clear streams, creating a quiet and simple atmosphere.

Qiantong Ancient Town is also famous for its folk culture and traditional festivals. Among them, the Qiantong Lantern Festival has a history of more than 500 years and has been listed as a national intangible cultural heritage. In addition, the ancient town has been selected as a famous historical and cultural town in China and Zhejiang Province.

The ticket price for the ancient town is 40 yuan, which includes visits to multiple attractions, such as Zhisiqi Residence, Mingjing Hall, Zesi Residence, Shangtang House, Folk Museum, Old Street, Dazong Ancestral Hall, and Qunfeng Zanlu. The best time to visit is around Qingming Festival, when the rape flowers around the ancient town are in full bloom and the scenery is pleasant.

Qiantong Ancient Town is not only a treasure trove of history and culture, but also an excellent place to experience the traditional life and atmosphere of the Jiangnan water town.
