My kid's birthday party in the mountains was a huge hit!

Last weekend, I took my little one to the riverside campsite at Xiake Yuan in Lianghuang Mountain, Ninghai. Eight kids played wildly until dark and didn't want to leave! Here's my budget-friendly birthday party guide👇

⛺️We chose the No.1 nomadic tent
Right next to the soothing sound of the stream🌊 We laid out Indian-style tablecloths inside the tent and cooled watermelons in the stream🍉 Kids were super focused making watermelon drinks with fresh fruit and sparkling water (though most of it ended up on their clothes, haha)

🔥The BBQ party dominated all the moms' social media feeds
The campsite provided grills and basic ingredients, and we brought our own Orleans chicken wings and BBQ skewers🍢 Parents from neighboring tents came over to chat, attracted by the amazing smell😂 Best part? No cleanup needed! After eating, we headed straight to the Kids' Playground where the seesaws, swings, and climbing frames kept them busy for 2 hours

🪁The DIY kite painting was a delightful surprise!
We thought it would just be a coloring activity, but the camp leader brought several kite canvases. My kid drew something that vaguely resembled a dinosaur🦖 And we actually flew it successfully on the big lawn later! Tip: bring an old T-shirt for painting🎨

🎂The cake moment was absolutely epic!
The afternoon sunlight filtering through the tent was so gentle, and I captured photos of my kid grinning with cream all over their face📸 Haha~ The camp leader even prepared a Bluetooth speaker for the birthday song! Maximum festive vibes🎵

💡Tips:
1. 1.5-hour drive from Hangzhou/Ningbo
2. Pre-booking BBQ packages is more economical
3. Don't forget mosquito repellent in the mountains!!
4. Keep decorations simple with balloons and banners (the natural holiday vibes⛱️ are already picture-perfect, no need to overcomplicate)
