✅ Soundproofing/Hygiene:
The environment was quiet during our stay with excellent sound insulation, free from external disturbances. The overall cleanliness was satisfactory, providing a comfortable living experience.
🏘️ Room Type/Layout:
Multiple stays have all offered great room experiences. Standard rooms are often upgraded to lake view rooms. The 8th-floor lake view king room is spacious, with some rooms boasting outstanding views facing the scenic area, offering open vistas. The room layout retains the luxurious design from its opening, and the included balcony is a bonus, providing unique perspectives from different angles.
🛌 Amenities/Facilities:
The hotel facilities had a premium feel at opening, with JW-level quality in its decor style. All facilities were very comfortable to use when newly opened. The TV supports screen mirroring, which is convenient and practical; the lounge is accessible 24/7 with card access, adding to the convenience.
💗 Other Tips:
- Convenient Transportation: It takes just over half an hour by high-speed train from Ningbo to Ninghai, and a five-minute taxi ride from the train station gets you to the hotel, making travel effortless.
- Dining Recommendations: The lounge afternoon tea features two types of small cakes, which are decent in quality. Happy hour offers a variety of dishes, including small yellow croaker, razor clams, shrimp, and more, along with drinks like Corona and Little Gold Palm for unlimited enjoyment. Breakfast is diverse, featuring local specialties like sea urchin wontons, seafood noodles, donuts, and wheat buns. The hotel's Chinese restaurant is worth a try, with attentive service and fresh seafood. The crispy chicken is perfectly cooked—crispy outside and tender inside, juicy (note: seafood on the menu is not eligible for member discounts). Additionally, Ninghai has many local delicacies worth trying, such as soup dumplings, wheat cakes, and seafood noodles.
- Service Experience: The staff provides thoughtful assistance, such as refrigerating food delivered to the front desk during typhoon weather and helping arrange same-day SF Express delivery when trips are canceled. For minor issues, the front desk proactively compensates with a premium fruit platter—overall service is very satisfying.
- Facility Suggestions: The gym and pool are outsourced and relatively small. During summer vacations, parents often bring children, so if you prefer a quiet wellness experience, it's best to avoid these times.
- Best Time to Stay: The hotel usually has fewer guests, enhancing the experience. During flash sales, summer vacations, and weekends, it can get busier, and service may feel slightly stretched. Opting for a two- or three-day stay during off-peak periods ensures a better experience, making it ideal for a weekend staycation.
