Nankyu Shrine, located within the grounds of Nishinomiya Shrine, is an auxiliary shrine of Hirota Shrine. Even after Ebisu Shrine became a popular destination and Nishinomiya Shrine was separated from Hirota Shrine in the early Meiji period, Nankyu has remained an auxiliary shrine of Hirota Shrine to this day.

It is located just past the Omote Daimon Gate (commonly known as the Akamon Gate) on the way to Nishinomiya Shrine.
