This shrine is famous as the head shrine of all Ebisu shrines across the country. As the god of prosperity in business, more than a million worshippers visit Ebisu on the 10th of January. Every year on the 10th, a competition is held to select the lucky man. Omote-daimon is the famous starting point. A completion purification ceremony was held in August 2020, making it even more beautiful and vibrant. It is also designated as a nationally designated important cultural property.
