"Hyotan Sakura Park"
An old cherry tree that is about 500 years old, 21 meters tall, and 6 meters around the base, and is designated as a natural monument of the prefecture. Its scientific name is Edohigan, but the lower part of the flower's calyx tube swells into a spherical shape, and when viewed from the side, it is called Hyotan Sakura. The road from Osaki to Hyotan Sakura is 3.5 kilometers.
The best time to see it is usually from late March to early April.
It gets very crowded during the season, so please come with plenty of time. It is also a one-way street.
