Immersive Journey Through the Divine Capital: Discover a Hidden Gem Hotel

🏨 Accommodation Recommendation
Luoyang Ancient Capital Stroll Hotel (Yingtianmen Luoyi Ancient City Branch)
1. Convenient transportation: The subway entrance is right on the left, making it easy to explore the surroundings.
2. Both inside the hotel and at the entrance are Hanfu shops, very convenient for photo ops and costume changes.
3. Very close to attractions: On the right are Yingtianmen, Tiantang Mingtang, Jiuzhou Pool, etc.
On the left are Lijingmen, Luoyi Ancient City, and Shizijie, all within walking distance for easy fun.

🌙 Day 1: Intangible Cultural Heritage First Experience + Flourishing Tang Dynasty Nightscape

📍 Luoyi Ancient City (Free, entry after 17:00)
Rent a set of Song-style Hanfu (recommended "Furongxuan," 168 RMB including makeup). First, go to the study classroom to experience intangible cultural heritage lacquer fan making—dip the round fan into lacquer water and gently shake to get a colorful cloud pattern, a great sense of accomplishment. In the evening, take photos of the Wenfeng Tower reflection in the moat, then after the lanterns light up, head to Shizijie to find "Chaxu Mudanting," where the peony milk tea made with Baima Temple milk is sweet but not greasy.
📍 Yingtianmen (Light Show at 20:00)
Arrive an hour early to stake out the C spot at the North Square. The 30-meter-high city wall projection "The Way of Heaven’s Gate" paired with the coronation BGM gives you goosebumps all over. After watching, take the Shendu Tour Line 1 night bus directly back to Luoyi Ancient City, super convenient.

🌞 Day 2: Collision of Ancient Sites and Technology

📍 Longmen Grottoes (Ticket 90 RMB, arrive before 7:30)
Enter from the northwest gate and head straight to the Vairocana Buddha. On the left stairs is a hidden spot to photograph the Buddha’s profile and the panoramic view of the Yi River. After touring, visit the "Supreme Longmen" experience hall, a 13-minute naked-eye 5D dome show that "transports" you to the Northern Wei carving site, the moment you pass close to the Buddha is incredibly stunning.
📍 Baima Temple (Ticket 35 RMB)
The Buddhist halls of China, India, Thailand, and Myanmar each have unique features. Spin around in Hanfu in front of the white pagoda of the Myanmar temple for a full exotic vibe. At the exit, don’t miss "Shangji Beef Tripe Soup," with snowy white broth and fried dough twists, only 15 RMB for a full meal.

✨ Day 3: Immersive Performance + Return Trip Surprise

📍 "Tracing the Ode to the Luo River Goddess" (Inside Dahehui, book tickets in advance)
The 75-minute immersive experience is totally worth it! 30 minutes in the digital museum viewing holographic bronze artifacts, then 45 minutes in the immersive theater following the plot through time travel. AR technology makes the Luo River Goddess appear right before your eyes, with guzheng and Tang dynasty dance intertwined beautifully.
📍 Sui-Tang Grand Canal Museum (Free with reservation)
Take photos in dark Hanfu on the popular spiral staircase, the light and shadow contrast is amazing. The interactive exhibits let you "excavate" canal shipwrecks yourself, educational and fun.
🍜 Lunch: "Xiaojie Tianfu" potstickers with sweet and sour potato slices, then pack "Zhenbutong" peony flower cakes as souvenirs.

💡 Local Insider Tips

1. Don’t skimp on Hanfu! Choose ones with underskirts and steel hoops to avoid exposure when running or jumping. The clearly priced shops in Luoyi Ancient City are more reliable.

2. Book intangible cultural heritage experiences early! The big-sleeve shirt making and tie-dye courses in Luoyi Ancient City require early booking, taught personally by heritage inheritors.

3. Use the "Luoyixing" app for city transport. Metro lines 1 and 2 cover most attractions, and there are mother-and-baby rooms, very thoughtful for families.

4. For a water banquet, choose "Guanji Old Shop" small set meals: peony jelly and meat slices in soup, two people can eat to fullness for 50 RMB.

The romance of Luoyang is the warmth at the fingertips of intangible cultural heritage inheritors and the millennium stories restored by technology. Take your time strolling—every step hides a surprise~
