A road trip to Shikoku 🚗✨ Even the detours were breathtaking

Even rivers that weren't our destination were so beautiful...!
This Shikoku drive was so amazing, I'd like to share a detailed introduction to the spots we stopped at. ✨
📍Nakatsu Valley Prefectural Natural Park
The ultimate "Niyodo Blue"!
The contrast between the crystal-clear river and the vibrant greenery took my breath away. 🌿
The walking trail was well-maintained along the valley, making it easy to walk. 🚶♀️
I discovered moss-covered rocks and small waterfalls, and felt refreshed bathing in negative ions. ✨
Uryu Falls was particularly impressive, with its sparkling spray that left me mesmerized.
📍Shikoku Karst
A sky-high road where you can have the spectacular view all to yourself!
Spreading out over 1,000 meters above sea level, I was blown away by the picture-book-like scenery. 🥺
The endless green carpet and rolling limestone were both mysterious and charming. 🪨
The clear air and endless blue sky were like a cleansing experience.
The silver grass swaying in the breeze was also beautiful, and just staring at it was a truly joyous experience.
📍Kashiwajima
The water was so clear it almost felt like I was floating on the ocean!
The sparkling emerald green water was so beautiful I couldn't help but exclaim, "It feels like I'm not in Japan!" 🐠
Colorful tropical fish were swimming around, and apparently you can enjoy snorkeling and diving!
I didn't have time this time, but next time I definitely want to experience the underwater world!!
The gradations of color at sunset were also amazing, and the scenery was so soothing that I was captivated by it all day long.

The "Niyodo Blue" is just as vibrant as they say! The crystal-clear river and lush greenery were a feast for the eyes.

This "road in the sky" is a hidden gem. Rolling green hills dotted with unique limestone rocks — it felt like stepping into a fairytale.
📍 Kashiwajima
The water here is so clear, it feels like you're floating on air! The stunning emerald green ocean is truly a sight to behold.#Shikoku #kochijapan #japan
