Hell Valley, Hokkaido

Noboribetsu, known as the largest hot spring city in Hokkaido, Japan, has a 450-meter-tall crater called Hell Valley!
They say Hell Valley got its name because it looks similar to this place when you go to hell. When I heard that, I felt a little creepy.
The sulfur hot spring water was flowing and sulfur gas and steam were continuously coming out of the crater, which was really amazing, but the smell of sulfur was really bad from afar! 😂 Still, seeing and walking around this place with active volcanic activity was a very special experience for me.
