Enjoy the Noboribetsu Onsen area and stay at Daiichi Takimotokan

After leaving Noboribetsu Hell Valley, we walked to Noboribetsu Onsen Street (also known as Gokuraku-dori Shopping Street or Gokuraku Street). To be honest, Noboribetsu Onsen Street is not particularly lively, and there are not many shops, only a few simple gourmet restaurants, drug stores and souvenir shops. I finished shopping quite quickly.
There is a famous attraction on the street called "Yama King Hall". The main purpose of this place is to perform the Hell Judgment. At the designated time, "Yama King" will start to change his face and conduct the Hell Judgment. After about three minutes, he will return to his original kind expression. In addition, the geyser in the nearby Spring Park erupts approximately every 3 hours, producing thick smoke with a temperature of 80 degrees and a height of meters.
After touring the area, we checked into the historic Dai-ichi Takimotokan in Noboribetsu. This is a highly recommended 4-star hotel in Noboribetsu Onsen. The room we stayed in was renovated in 2018 and the environment is very good. There are also restaurants and souvenir shops in the hotel, and you can soak in a wide variety of hot springs. It is really great.
