✈️ A 2-week family trip to Jakarta & Bandung, Indonesia

My family and children enjoyed a two-week vacation in Jakarta, Indonesia. While it was a relaxing family trip, we had so many wonderful experiences and discovered so many great places to recommend.

🏠 Accommodation Recommendation: Reddorz Cilandak, South Jakarta

We stayed at Reddorz Cilandak in South Jakarta.

The overall style was very comfortable, the rooms were clean and cozy, and it was a great place to stay with children.

The best part was—it was incredibly affordable!

If you're visiting Jakarta and looking for comfortable, budget-friendly accommodations, I highly recommend this place.

🛍️ Exploring Mall Jakarta

Shopping in large malls is one of the easiest things to do when traveling with children. We visited two very large malls:

Mall Indonesia

It's spacious, with numerous shops and everything from restaurants to entertainment.

It's perfect for family shopping and dining, and there's also plenty of room for the kids to play.

Mall Artha Gading

It's also quite large, with a wide variety of restaurants and entertainment facilities. I think this is perfect for those who enjoy shopping and souvenirs.

🚗 Road Trip: Jakarta to Bandung

Afterwards, we drove to Bandung. The scenery along the way was truly beautiful, and the lush greenery was so relaxing.

🍜 Food Spots

1. Mie Naripan

This is a very famous noodle shop, and the food is absolutely amazing.

The noodles are chewy and the seasoning is authentic, making it a great place for children.

2. B’ Steak (Highly recommended!)

I was so impressed by this Western restaurant that I went there twice!

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was great.

It's a great place for couples and families alike.

🌿 Travel Experiences

Although this trip wasn't packed with activities, we were able to relax and enjoy each day.

The kids had fun, and the adults relaxed.

We discovered many little surprises that wouldn't normally be mentioned in travel guides.

The scenery in Bandung, in particular, makes the trip truly worthwhile.

Traveling with children: We recommend choosing a trip that includes stops at malls or cozy restaurants for a relaxed and unhurried itinerary.

Transportation: If you can drive, renting a car and driving to Bandung is a great option, allowing you to enjoy the scenery along the way.

Food: Mie Naripan and B’ Steak are must-trys! You won't regret it.
