A short but intense 3km! A day challenge at Grouse Grind

⛰️ Vancouver's iconic challenge course, Grouse Grind ⛰️

Located in North Vancouver, Grouse Mountain is famous for skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. Among its trails, the Grouse Grind is particularly renowned and often referred to as "Mother Nature’s Stairmaster."

You can enjoy it in two ways:
• Fitness + Record Challenge → Grouse Grind 🥵
• Hiking/Climbing → BCMC 🌲

I chose the BCMC trail, which is considered a beginner-friendly course (about 3km with an elevation gain of 750-800m). However, the entire trail consists of steep stair-like inclines, making it quite physically demanding. 🥵

While climbing, you might feel out of breath, but the moment you reach the summit and take in the panoramic view of Vancouver, all your sweat feels worth it. After the hike, taking the cable car (Skyride) down is another enjoyable experience. 🚡 The hike typically takes about 1.5-2 hours.

Give it a try! You might even get a chance to spot bears at the top! 🐻

✔ Travel Tips
• If you exercise regularly, this trail is worth the challenge. For beginners, take your time and ascend slowly.
• Be sure to bring water, and in summer, don’t forget a hat and sunscreen.
• The trail is uphill only; you must use the gondola to descend.
• Free shuttle buses operate from Canada Place! (Check the schedule in advance!)
