Discover beautiful scenery in Horton Plains

You can enter the park from Pattipola and Ohiya. The park opens at 6am. The morning mist was also very beautiful, so I recommend entering as early as possible. I saw many sambar deer. I don't recommend going in rainy weather or just after rainy weather because the road is a little dangerous. Please visit on a clear day.

Plastic bags and other items are not allowed. I was able to bring in bottled water, although the label had been removed.

It took about 10km to go around in 3 hours. Enjoy the waterfalls, the end-of-the-world scenery, and the plants and animals that can only be seen here.

As of January 2024, the entrance fee was about $42.
