Why is Lake Ashi in Hakone so beautiful but rarely recommended?

Besides soaking in hot springs, the lakes and mountains of Hakone are also stunning.
It takes nearly three and a half hours one way from central Tokyo. If you arrive late, it's a pity you can't catch the anime-themed pirate ship; the last boat departs at 4 PM. You'll just have to leave some regrets and come back to experience it next time!
From anywhere in central Tokyo, navigate to [Odawara].
Transfer to the mountain bus E3 to [Moto-Hakone].
From there, you can walk to Lake Ashi, the pirate ship, the Peace Torii (sea torii gate), Narukawa Art Museum, and other attractions.
