Xi'an 3-Hour Mini Vacation Mode Activated

We found the perfect family-friendly resort near Xi'an for our Dragon Boat Festival getaway – Ankang Yinghu Xiaoyin Resort. Located on Cuiping Island, the hotel provides shuttle service upon arrival at the scenic area, just a 3-minute ride to the property. Our lake-view suite immediately delighted us with breathtaking views, excellent sightlines, and a spacious bathtub that had our little one eager to splash around. Paired with afternoon tea and fresh fruits, it was pure relaxation. In the afternoon, we dined at the lake-view restaurant on the basement level (authentic southern Shaanxi cuisine was delicious) and enjoyed boating in the infinity pool. Later, we strolled around the island – right outside the hotel is a children's playground with slides and sandpits for effortless kid entertainment. At sunset, lakeside walks offered perfect photo ops (though drought lowered water levels this year, the scenery remained stunning). The next morning after breakfast, we took a complimentary boat ride (provided by the hotel) to Jinluo Island – our child loved the boat trip. Though small, Jinluo Island boasts beautiful views and loquat-picking opportunities on its slopes. Returning to the hotel by lunchtime, we found this Xi'an-area mini vacation thoroughly satisfying. The resort's all-inclusive approach covers children's activities, dining, and fitness facilities, ensuring neither kids nor adults ever get bored.
