A breathtaking spot where you can see behind the waterfall, Nabegataki

Just a 40-minute drive from Minami Aso, you'll find Nabegataki in Aso Oguni Village.

This location was even featured in a tea commercial🫶. The highlight is that you can go behind the waterfall👍.

Although you might think it's deep in the mountains because it's a waterfall, it's actually just a 5-minute walk from the parking lot, making it very accessible for tourists. There were also many families with children.

Around mid-morning, when the sun gets higher (around 10 AM), the occasional rays of light streaming through were magical and beautiful🥹.

They even sold churros at the parking lot!
