Hayashibara Museum of Art

A very small museum near Okayama Castle which has a little bit of everything: some swords, folding screens, maki-e, noh masks and costumes. But apparently they have no permanent exhibition, so it might be wise to check what's on before you visit. Note that there are hardly any explanations in English. The museum is not a must-see but still displays some beautiful artifacts and you can get a combination ticket for the Castle and Korakuen Garden.
