Everyone is probably familiar with supermarkets. Those visiting Japan love to shop there to find affordable souvenirs and goods. In areas like Okayama and Hiroshima, smaller supermarkets have emerged, such as every eburi, which specializes in food.
Japanese snacks are priced between 200 and 300 yen, and seasonings are significantly cheaper than at regular supermarkets thanks to the backing of supermarkets.
I bought all my souvenirs here in one go, and the prices were incredibly good when I checked out.
Muscat grapes, a must-have in Okayama this season, are also available here for the incredibly low price of 777 yen. Even the Haruko grapes are marked down to 777 yen, and they're quite large.
Next to the supermarket is the large Muji store. Thanks to social media hype, they're still selling out of sleep anesthetics. I checked the official website and found they're the only ones in Okayama with stock. Don't miss this if you're visiting Okayama soon.
