This is Udo Shrine, a breathtaking spot along Miyazaki's Nichinan Coast.

The shrine, located inside a cave, is incredibly rare in Japan, creating a mystical atmosphere as if you've stepped into a world of sea and mythology.✨

One of its famous rituals is the "Undama Throw." With your wish in mind, men use their left hand and women their right to toss small unglazed clay balls toward a turtle-shaped rock in the sea. If the ball lands in the hollow, your wish is said to come true.
