[Aichi Prefecture] The illuminated cherry blossoms at Okazaki Castle Park are fantastic!

The Okazaki Sakura Festival, a spring tradition in Okazaki, is being held again this year!

About 800 cherry trees paint Okazaki Castle Park pink,
a truly spectacular spot🌸
Have a cherry blossom viewing session during the day, and enjoy a fantastical world of illuminations at night✨

Tuesday, March 26, 2025 - Sunday, April 6, 2025

🌸Flowering status:
Usually late March to early April
*When photographed, it was almost in full bloom on April 6!

✨Limited-time illumination:
Sunset to 22:00

🍽️Food & stalls:
At "Okazaki's Shops Gathering!"
There is a wide selection of local gourmet food, sweets, and standard food stall menus◎
It's so great to enjoy the cherry blossoms while eating your way around.
The garlic shrimp and meat sushi are especially recommended! The quality of the food stalls is much better than other festivals🫣
