Okinawa Children's Kingdom is Japan's southernmost zoo, blessed by a warm and humid subtropical marine climate. It's home to approximately 1,000 animals representing 150 species.
Due to Okinawa's many endemic species and unique natural environment, it's often called the "Galapagos of the East." Furthermore, Okinawa boasts a unique traditional culture and its native livestock (horses, pigs, goats, etc.) that are closely tied to this culture. Our goal is to conserve these endemic species and native livestock. We also raise animals from the Japanese mainland and around the world.
