The Earth Garden "CHIKYUU NO NIWA" is located in AEON MALL Okinawa Rycom (Kitanakagu Village). The playground covers an area of about 400 pings. There are different theme areas such as volcanoes, forests, and icebergs in the playground, and there are various amusement facilities such as ball pools, "Tarzan" swings, and fountains.
There is also an Earth Garden in Tokyo's Skytree, but the fee here in Okinawa is cheaper. The hourly fee for children (under 12 years old) and adults is 1200/600 yen respectively. If you buy a one-day plan, the fee is 1600/800 yen. It is obvious which plan is the most cost-effective.
You must take off your shoes when you enter the playground. There is a shoe cabinet next to the service desk. After the waiter explains the plan, he will provide a piece of paper with a QR code and an adult tag, which will write the number of adults/children and the plan purchased. You will check out when you leave. Go to the checkout machine to swipe your card. Free entry and exit within a day is not allowed here.
The overall environment is clean and bright. The iceberg area includes slides, ball pools, diving platforms, rock climbing, level-breaking, shooting games and other activities. A small theme venue can cover so many types of play, and the design is quite thoughtful. In addition, the ball pool in the volcano area combines the Tarzan swing, and uses red balls as magma, and simulates the dynamics of magma eruption through a volcano-shaped jet device, which is very interesting. There is a super-large trampoline next to the volcano area, where children can vent the most physical energy.
There are also dining areas and simple vending machines in the park. Children can have a short snack in the dining area when they are hungry. The park also has its own toilets. For younger babies, there are also spacious nursing rooms and diaper changing tables. It can be said that the needs of preschoolers and children are taken care of very carefully.
There is also a girl's favorite play house area next to the iceberg, which provides many simulated stores, as well as exquisite cash registers, cookers, meals and other toys. The only thing I think is not right is the sand play area next to the house play area. Real sand is used, so the hands and feet of the children playing here will be covered with dust. Some of them even go back and forth between the sand area and the carpet in the house play area, which will cause a lot of dust on the carpet, but the staff did not stop this. I think there can be more improvement in terms of hygiene.
Overall, the Earth Garden of AEON MALL Okinawa is still a place worth visiting for parent-child travelers. Children will definitely have a happy time here.
