- There are vast grasslands. In late rainy season and early winter, the beautiful grasslands are still green and gradually
turn to their full golden color towards the end of the year.
- You can see both the sunrise and sunset.
- From mid-December to early February, the azaleas begin to bloom.
- Enjoy a 360-degree view of the stars.
- Don't forget to take a photo at the "555" sign at the "Horn Ma Hop" (Single-Eyed Goral)
- This is the habitat of the serow, one of 15 protected wild animals.
- It is also a habitat for wild elephants, where you may encounter tracks.
- "Mon Jong" is a mountain at 1929 meters
above sea level.
**Things to Know**
- Doi Mon Jong is open between: November - February
- Must book on the park website (in the comments)
- Contact the park officials and then
- Take a 4WD to the starting point.
- Walk to the campsite: 6-7 km.
- Approximately 3-4 hours, depending on your ability.
- Flat and steep terrain at the Ma Hop hill.
- Bring your own tent, sleeping equipment, food, and water.
- The mornings are cold, so bring your own clothes.
- Do not litter on Doi Mon Chong.
- Porters are 300-400 baht per day. The porters are very friendly.
