Even if you can't make a reservation, you can still eat here.

Okinawa🫧Onna Village
Okinawan Cuisine Shimabuta-ya Maeganeku Branch

Called on Thursday evening and visited. They don't take seat reservations, so they put your name on a waiting list instead.

When we arrived, Shimabuta-ya was full, but they offered us seats at the neighboring Yanbaru Meat, where they serve the Shimabuta-ya menu.

Instead of the usual shabu-shabu, they serve it steamed in a bamboo steamer!
The course includes appetizers like mimiga (pig's ear) and pickled beni shindai radish, mozuku chawanmushi, steamed dishes, miso soup, and jushi (Okinawan mixed rice).
You can also order a la carte.

Orders are placed by scanning a QR code with your phone. No need to install an app or register on LINE.
