🚀From Wulinmen Pier to Gongchen Bridge, this must-visit water corridor in Hangzhou is absolutely amazing! A 5-kilometer stroll covers the stunning scenery along both sides of the canal~
🌟Must-Visit Check-in Points:
1️⃣ Wulinmen Pier: A water bus ride costs only 3 yuan, and you can enjoy the charming old buildings along the riverbank. Boats depart every hour from 7:00 to 18:00 daily; it's best to go in the morning when it's less crowded📸
2️⃣ Qiaoxi Historic District: Full of hidden gem shops! Recommended spots include Xiaofeng Bookstore and Canal Study Room. Sitting by the floor-to-ceiling windows, sipping coffee while watching the canal is incredibly relaxing☕
3️⃣ China Fan Museum: Free admission, showcasing many exquisite fans. The second floor has an interactive experience area. After visiting, don’t forget to buy a Song Dynasty style bookmark as a souvenir at the cultural shop by the entrance💝
4️⃣ Gongchen Bridge: Hangzhou’s top ancient bridge! Recommended to visit at sunset when the golden light shines on the canal—it's breathtaking🌅 When taking photos at the bridgehead, remember to use the "Gongchen Invites the Moon" stone tablet as the background!
🍜 Food & Snack Guide:
Highly recommend the Courtyard Restaurant by the canal, with signature dishes like drunken crab and beggar’s chicken—absolutely delicious! Average cost about 80 yuan per person, located at 18 Xiaohe Straight Street. For snacks, head to Qiaoxi Straight Street, where you can get scallion pancakes and Dingsheng cakes for just 5 yuan~
📌Tips:
1. The combination of walking + water bus is the easiest way to explore, expect 4-5 hours in total
2. After 7 PM, the lights along both sides of the canal are fully on, creating an amazing night tour atmosphere
3. Wear comfortable sneakers! Walking on the stone pavement for a long time can still be tiring
4. Remember to bring cash for the water bus, as mobile payments sometimes have poor signal
Every corner by the canal is a scenic spot, so keep your phone fully charged because you won’t want to stop taking photos! Take advantage of the crisp autumn weather and go for it~
