Okinawa, You're a Dream - Ocean Blues, Cliff Views 🩵

Started the day slow — a hotel breakfast so good we lingered longer than planned. Local flavours, fresh pastries, and ocean views made even coffee feel special.

🏰 Kouri Ocean Tower – Blue All Around
Drove across the long, stunning bridge to Kouri Island. At the Ocean Tower, we climbed above coral-blue seas, with the wind in our hair and island stories all around. Even the shell museum had its quiet charm.

🌊 Cape Chinen Lookout – Quiet Beauty
In the south, Chinen Misaki Park gifted us silence, space, and sweeping sea views. No crowds, just open skies, swaying grass, and the kind of peace only nature gives.

🐘 Cape Manzamo – The Elephant’s Cliff
And then there was 象鼻子悬崖 (Cape Manzamo) – Okinawa’s iconic elephant trunk cliff. We stood there watching waves crash below, imagining legends carved by wind and time. The sun lit the rocks golden, and we just stood still.

🍱 Good Food, All Day
Every stop came with a bite worth remembering — tender pork belly, Okinawa soba, beni-imo snacks. Even gas station ice cream had island flair. Food here doesn’t shout. It comforts.

Another day, another set of island moments.
