Covering approximately 1 square kilometer, the Lingshui River flows like a silver ribbon around Coconut Island before slowly flowing into the sea. Coconut Island is surrounded by clear waters and adorned with coconut trees.
Visitors to the island must board a boat, where they're greeted by ethereal coconut trees and the soothing rhythm of the waves, creating a truly idyllic experience. Coconut Island boasts a natural and otherworldly scenery. Apart from the towering coconut trees, there's little other flora, which likely explains its nickname. Almost every coconut tree on Coconut Island is so ethereal and divine, it's hard to find more than a few similar trees on the entire island.
Climbing to the top of Coconut Island and gazing south, one can see the Twin Maidens rock formations towering above the sea, braving the wind and waves, leaning against each other. Nearby, green coconut trees and emerald waters complement each other, while fishing boats and seabirds play. Less than a hundred meters from the island lies an ancient temple, built during the reign of Emperor Guangxu. It is bustling with activity year-round, adding a touch of magical charm to Coconut Island.
