What makes this the most expensive hotel in Yixing?

Designer Xie Ke's design style tends towards nature and people's lives. His design projects, from the highland snow mountain Jixiaoshan Meili to the mountain city of Chongqing, are all closely related to nature.

People often say that he keeps a certain distance from the mainstream. The new hotels he designs look like old buildings, which easily evoke people's memories and nostalgia.

His latest work, Chunshan Zaiwang, is full of attention and yearning for daily life and nature. He pays attention to the feelings brought by space and regards people and nature as the greatest "locality" of design.

In early spring, the green bamboo forest in front of me swayed gently in the afternoon sun. A few minutes ago, I was driving on the wide road in Yixing, the capital of pottery. After turning a corner, I entered this quiet mountain forest. Walking along the stone path under the forest, I pushed open a low courtyard door and arrived at the "Chunshan Secret Realm" hidden from the world. "The greatest hermit hides in the city" probably refers to this place!

This winding stone path in the 70-acre mountain forest connects the world with this hidden residence. There are bamboos, cypresses, camphor trees, hibiscus, persimmon trees, and nandina in the mountain forest, as well as tea fields and countless shrubs. Although it is already late autumn in Jiangnan, the forest is still lush, quickly sketching this hidden secret realm in front of me. This hidden residence is called "Chunshan Zaiwang." This 6,000-square-meter building, transformed by designer Xie Ke, is hidden in this mountain forest. Under the cover of green pines and bamboos in front of the door, it looks even more elegant and refined.

Highly recommended for those who love small boutique resort hotels ❤️
