The Heart of the Blue Cave: Diving Memories at Cape Maeda

Beneath the waters of Okinawa lies a breathtaking world—the Blue Cave at Cape Maeda. Donning a wetsuit and mask, and guided by an instructor, I slowly descended into this dreamlike azure space. Sunlight slanted through the surface, refracting into shimmering silver-blue patterns.

Schools of fish darted around me, and corals glowed softly in the water. In that moment, I felt as though I was no longer a visitor from the land but a part of this ocean realm. Even as I surfaced, my heart remained enveloped by that deep blue. Cape Maeda may not be a bustling tourist spot, but it left me with the most profound blue memory etched in my soul.
