[Fukui] A relaxing space with 2,000 windmills

The former Tamura family samurai residence in Ono City, Fukui Prefecture.

This is the former residence of the Tamura Matazaemon family, who served as the chief retainer of the Ono Domain. It was built in 1827 and is one of the few samurai residences in the prefecture.

It is also a designated cultural property of Ono City.

It is a samurai residence, but contrary to the image of its name, it is very cute🩷

From the approach to the residence, there are "windmill shelves" decorated with 2,000 colorful windmills, which are perfect for photos!

It is also recommended to cool off with a windmill during the hot season to come✨
