Longquan Garden Scenic Area was rated as a "National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site" in 2004 and a "National Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism Demonstration Site" in 2011. It is a "National AAA-level Tourist Scenic Area", "National Youth Agricultural Science Popularization Demonstration Base", "Henan Province Agricultural Standardization Production Base", and "Henan Province One Village One Product Talent Attraction Demonstration Base". The "Longquan Village Brand Golden Pear" produced in Longquan Garden Scenic Area has been awarded as one of the top ten well-known brands of fruits and vegetables in China and a famous trademark in Henan Province. The "Longquan Village Brand" golden pear has been certified as a "green food" by the China Green Food Development Center, and has won the titles of "Second Prize for Recommended Fruits for the Beijing Olympics", "Chinese Local Specialty", and "Henan Province Famous Agricultural Products". The park is also an experimental base for college students recognized by universities such as Henan University of Science and Technology and Xinxiang University.
