Osaka tourist spot! Stroll around Ebisubashi-suji Shopping Street

Osaka, the city of merchants, has many famous shopping streets. Ebisubashi-suji Shopping Street is one of the most famous shopping streets in Osaka Minami. I strolled around with my back to the main entrance of Takashimaya Osaka.

At the entrance, there is a manhole cover of Myaku Myaku-sama (the mascot for the Osaka Expo). Even something like that makes you feel like you're in Osaka. The arcade-style shopping street stretches about 370m from north to south and is home to a variety of stores, including 551 Main Store and Uncle Rikuro's Main Store. There is also Ebitan, the mascot character of the shopping street. This is a recommended tourist spot where you can experience Osaka culture.
