One of the best places to start exploring Osaka by night is Dotonbori. This iconic area is known for its lively atmosphere, bright signs, and mouthwatering street food. Take a walk along the street and be mesmerized by the famous Glico running man sign. The streets are lined with restaurants and bars, and the aromas of local delicacies like takoyaki and okonomiyaki fill the air. There are also many shops for some retail therapy.


📍Shinsekai District

The Shinsekai district is famous for its colourful signs and bustling streets. Take a walk to the Tsutenkaku Tower and see the famous Billiken statue, which is said to bring good luck to those who rub its feet.

For a taste of traditional Japanese culture, head to an izakaya. These small bars offer a cosy atmosphere where you can sample local dishes and drinks like sake and shochu. There are plenty of street food around too & expect long queues for the popular stalls.
