Conrad Osaka's Castle in the Sky, designed by a famous designer

#OsakaHotel
The Conrad Osaka is located on Nakanoshima Island. While the hotel isn't in a traditional commercial area, it offers convenient transportation: the Midosuji Line (Yodoyabashi Station) and the Yotsubashi Line (Higobashi Station) are nearby. Traveling north to the Umeda shopping district and south to Shinsaibashi and Namba takes about 10-15 minutes. I tried walking from the hotel to Osaka Station, which took about 20 minutes.
🖌Design
The hotel was designed by Japanese designer Yukio Hashimoto. Its most iconic features are the 39th-floor Chapel and the 40th-floor lobby. The 39th floor, inspired by the "Castle in the Sky," features a signature installation: a pure white spiral staircase leading to the 40th floor, symbolizing a stairway to heaven. Ascending the stairs, the 40th floor offers panoramic views. During the day, sunlight filters through the steel facade, while at night, gazing outward offers a breathtaking view of Osaka's nightscape.
🏠Rooms
The guest room design embodies the traditional Japanese hotel style: restrained, minimalist, and tranquil. This time, we were assigned a south-facing Grand Deluxe room on the 34th floor, offering sweeping views of the Osaka skyline. My only complaint was the dim lighting.

🥢Food
Breakfast was a semi-buffet. Traditional Japanese dishes were available à la carte, with the most impressive being the Okonomiyaki-style Eggs Benedict, Japanese soba noodles, and seafood omelette. The Executive Lounge on the 39th floor served light meals from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The food was average quality and the variety was limited, but there was a good selection of sake and plum wine.
