Shitenno-ji

Shitennoji, an ancient Buddhist temple in Osaka⛩️🇯🇵

🧧It is the oldest temple in Osaka, approximately 1,400 years old, and is the first Buddhist site in Japan.

🪭The highlight here is the 5-story Japanese-style pagoda, built in the architectural style of the Asuka period. Inside, there are many Buddha statues, decorated intricately and beautifully.

👺At the main entrance, there is a torii stone pillar, followed by the central temple (Central Temple), the Treasure Hall (Museum) and the garden (Gokurakujodo Garden).
