Recommended places to visit in Osaka and Kobe alone

Traveling alone in Osaka was a memorable experience. I explored many places, from famous theme parks to peaceful hot springs. This was a trip that was both fun and peaceful at the same time:

1. Universal Studios Japan (USJ)
The first place I went to was Universal Studios Japan, one of the most famous theme parks in Japan. Even though I traveled alone, I had a lot of fun! I got an Express Pass ticket, which allowed me to quickly access the rides. My favorite area was The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Walking through Hogwarts Castle and Hogsmeade Village made me feel like I was really in the world of Harry Potter. Rides like Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey were the highlight of the day. I also got to try popular rides like The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man and Jurassic Park. The day was full of excitement and fun all day long.

2. Arima Onsen
After a fun-filled day, I headed to Arima Onsen, an old and famous hot spring in Japan. Soaking in the hot springs here is a perfect relaxation after a tiring day of walking around. Arima Onsen has two types of hot spring water: the golden spring (Kinsen) which is high in iron, and the silver spring (Ginsen) which is high in soda. Soaking in the water is very relaxing. The surrounding atmosphere is quiet and beautiful, surrounded by the nature of the mountains. It is the perfect time to recharge.

3. Osaka Castle
A historical landmark that you should not miss is Osaka Castle. I went there in the morning to avoid the crowds. The area around the castle has a spacious and quiet park. The castle itself is very beautiful and full of history. The top floor of the castle offers a 360-degree view of Osaka. I learned about the samurai era and the founding of the city from the museum inside the castle. It is a place that provides both knowledge and beauty at the same time.

4. Rokko Mountains
An adventure in nature is visiting the Rokko Mountains, which are not far from Osaka. I took the train and cable car up to the top of the mountain to see the best view of Kobe and Osaka Bay. The air up there is cool and fresh, making me feel very refreshed. Here I walked around the area and went to the Rokko Garden Terrace, an observation deck with an absolutely stunning view. Seeing the wide open landscape and the horizon connecting to the sea is a relaxing experience.

Traveling to Osaka alone gave me the chance to experience a variety of things: fun and adventure at Universal Studios Japan, peace and relaxation at Arima Onsen, learning about history at Osaka Castle, and getting close to nature at the Rokko Mountains. Traveling alone gives me the freedom to spend my time as I like. I can replenish both my mental and physical energy from the unique experiences in each place.
