Dotonbori is a canal located in Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, famous for its nearby theaters, commercial and entertainment venues. Dotonbori is connected to the Kizugawa River and the Toyokobori River, with a total length of about 2.5 kilometers. Its name also became the name of a town in Chuo Ward, Osaka City.

Dotonbori is a large bustling district along the south bank of the Dotonbori River. Japanese people often say "eat in Osaka", which shows that there are so many restaurants here, as well as a large number of entertainment facilities. It is the most popular place among Osaka citizens. There are many movie theaters here, as well as the Bunrakuza theater that performs puppet shows and the theater that performs traditional arts such as the popular folk art "Yosei".
