Inside Osaka Castle, there are a total of 8 floors.
Floors 1-7 are museum exhibits
that tell the historical story of the castle,
the biography of the builder of Osaka Castle,
as well as displays of antiques, armor sets, weapons,
ancient military equipment, daily items, and war dioramas
depicting battles for power and the unification of Japan in the past.
The 1st floor is the entrance to the Osaka Castle Museum.
Next, on the 2nd floor, there is a castle model
and interesting information.
Floors 3-4 display items related to
Toyotomi Hideyoshi, where photography is not allowed.
Floors 5-6 feature a war diorama
called “The Summer War in Osaka.”
On the 7th floor, after viewing items related to
Toyotomi Hideyoshi, you can get to know
this historical figure better.
The 8th floor, the top floor of the castle,
was formerly used as an observation tower to watch for enemy troops
during wartime. Today, it is a viewpoint offering a 360-degree view
of Osaka.
