The morning sunlight shines on the streets of downtown Osaka, and my first stop is the uniquely charming Osaka City Hall Cafeteria. This cafeteria, hidden inside the city government building, is open to the public and is known for its affordable prices and high-quality meals. Entering the City Hall, the simple yet solemn architectural style evokes a sense of seriousness, but stepping into the cafeteria, I was greeted by a warm and friendly atmosphere full of human touch. During lunchtime, the place is bustling with staff and visitors. I chose a popular set meal—the fried pork cutlet set. The crispy pork cutlet paired with soft white rice and refreshing miso soup was simple yet satisfying. After finishing my meal, I took the time to tour the interior of the City Hall to learn about the operations and public services of the Osaka city government. In the afternoon, I headed to the nearby Nakanoshima Park to enjoy the scenery along both sides of the Okawa River, quietly feeling the rhythm of the city and the harmony of nature.
