SANRIO CAFE WITH CUTIE STUFF

You can stop by the Sanrio Cafe in Ikebukuro for a cute little afternoon. The café has a Sanrio theme, and I saw lots of food items featuring characters like Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Kuromi, and My Melody. Sometimes, they even do collaborations with manga or anime series — which is definitely a plus.

However, the staff attitude was not great. There was a family with a child who asked to be seated at a table with cushioned chairs. Instead of preparing the table for them, the staff just made an "X" gesture and even went to a corner (out of sight from most customers) to whisper negatively about them. It was disappointing.

As for the food — not good. I usually have a sweet tooth, but even I couldn’t eat the cupcake because it was overwhelmingly sweet. The only thing I found enjoyable was the hot cocoa.

Overall: 3/10.
It's cute to look at, so I wouldn’t say it’s a total waste. It’s okay for a one-time experience.
