Imperial Hotel Osaka, experience old-school luxury service and beautiful Okawa River views

First stay experience at Imperial Hotel Osaka! Since I was visiting the Osaka Mint Bureau, I chose the nearby Imperial Hotel. Like in Tokyo, it is a long-established five-star hotel with a classic and grand style. Although the facilities show some age, they are very well maintained, very vintage and elegant, clean and bright, combined with warm Japanese hospitality, making for a great experience.

The most basic standard double room is about 30 square meters. On weekdays without breakfast, it costs around NT$7,000. Breakfast is an additional NT$1,000 per person, which is a bit pricey. The Imperial Hotel is located on a high floor, so the view is excellent, overlooking the Okawa River and cityscape, very comfortable.

Although the hotel is not in downtown Osaka, it offers free shuttle service. It’s about a 15-minute drive from JR Osaka Station, or you can take the JR to Sakuranomiya Station and walk about 5 minutes, enjoying beautiful scenery along the way.

Usually, these long-established five-star hotels are located in areas with great natural surroundings, which is why they have such beautiful views. Just treat it as a vacation to relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities and services.
