The Koji Kinutani Sky Museum, enjoy the beautiful view of Osaka at the Sky Café

Located inside the Umeda Sky Building in Osaka, the Koji Kinutani Sky Museum showcases numerous works by the Japanese mural master Koji Kinutani. Experience the world’s first 3D projection technology by wearing 3D glasses and entering the fantastical world of Koji Kinutani’s paintings.

At the entrance, you’ll find Koji Kinutani’s 2013 work "Celebration: Flying Dragon Fujihomon," which is also featured on the ticket. Photography is not allowed inside the exhibition, and since you view the art with 3D glasses, it’s difficult to capture with a camera. The exhibition takes about 30-40 minutes to enjoy, and at the end, you’ll arrive at the Sky Café, which is highly recommended for a relaxing break.

The best part is that with just a drink order, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Osaka city. On weekdays, there are few visitors, so you can almost have the entire space to yourself without the crowds found at other observation decks.
